Sasha Grey, Vladimir Nabokov & Chelsea Handler

Wow, has it been nearly a year since the Chelsea Handler cover of Playboy? And wasn't Sasha Grey in that one, too? And it seems by fate that I would receive both Vladimir Nabokov's The Original of Laura - an excerpt of which was posted in that issue - a copy of Chelsea Handler's My Horizontal Life plus the October 2010 issue of Playboy featuring Sasha Grey on the cover. Damnit, I'm reliving the year 2009, aren't I?

I picked up the issue of Playboy the week after it hit newsstands - apparently, the good people of Barnes & Noble don't release magazines on release dates, holds them back (this isn't the first time, either). Either way, it was well worth it.

The October issues of every year are rather dear to me - the real reason I bought the issue was for the short story within - because it's the college writing contest. The winners are always published in the October issue and I like up-and-comings. I know a lot of people say they only buy the magazine for the articles, but in my case it's very true. You don't have to believe me, though.
